NEW PARISH PRIEST: A message from Fr James Correa:
“It is with great joy I announce that Archbishop Oswald Cardinal Gracias (our Archbishop of Bombay) has appointed me as your new Parish Priest.
Due to the ongoing Pandemic I made my profession of Faith and took the oath of Office in the presence of the Dean of Borivali Deneary - Rev. Fr. Gilbert D'lima, The Parish Team Fr. Diago Pereira, Fr. Melroy Mendonça, Deacon Vernon and the members of the Parish Executive Committee.
I am humbled by your welcome and I, first of all, ask for your prayers that I may be given the grace to be a good shepherd to all of you. I want you to know how grateful I am for the support you have given and the good wishes you have expressed since my arrival here almost a week ago.
Due to the current pandemic it is not possible to gather for a service of induction and as much as I would have loved to meet you all in person I am but I look forward to when we re-open for public worship in a few weeks’ time to welcome you back as your Parish Priest. I continue to remember you all at the altar and am praying, in particular, for those of you who are struggling".
